Good Morning,

As you are aware, last week Washtenaw County law enforcement with the help of the FBI arrested and charged an individual for intentionally adulterating food products with rat poisoning.  As a result of this egregious act, we are all taking the time to pause and think about the safety of our own food source during arrival, storage and service.   The attached flyer entitled “If You See Something Say Something” was developed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.   This flyer provides information of when and what to do if you see suspicious activities at your food establishment and is a great resource for your staff and management team.    Thank you for all of your efforts in assuring a safe food supply for the guests and residents of Kalamazoo County.  Please give me a call or email if you have any questions.  Vj
