Hi Tracy and Sarah and everyone else.  
I was just about to chime in. Grand Traverse County uses the ReCollect HHW signup as well as their Waste Wizard widget.  We also use Constant Contact for monthly newsletters.  We are happy with the situation but I am always interested to learn about other options and experiences.  Being primarily a one person department, using software is vital to time management.

Hope all had a nice Holiday Season and are ready for a great year in 2019.

 

Livingston County is looking into some type of service/software that would allow us the ability to primarily allow residents to schedule a HHW appointment online and without the assistance of our staff via the phone.  This takes a considerable amount of staff time taking appointments during our HHW/Other events time period from April until October.

 

We have been in discussions with ReCollect, but wanted to know if any of our colleagues might have some other opportunities/companies for us to look into.

 

If it also allowed us to manage a data base of residents wishing to be reminded of events that we do for tires and electronics, etc., reminder texts and emails, and other tasks, that would be something that we might be interested in as well.
