Good morning. Hopefully you have all been looped into the changes we have happening here with our department. As of Monday we are now officially the
Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy. We continue to learn more daily and should be able to share a more comprehensive update next time we meet. Beyond a new name and logo, we also have a new bulletin
that we issue regularly to help people keep in touch with what’s going on in EGLE. It’s called
MI Environment and provides a lot of great information. If you’re not already
subscribed, I’d encourage you to at least check it out and consider subscribing. The latest
article highlights National DEA Takeback Day coming up this Saturday, April 27 from 10 to 2. Please help your communities participate by sharing information on the event with them if you haven’t already. We expect to tweet on this tomorrow, so please
