Best Practices and Solutions
Friday, September 20, 2019 | 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm EST

When stockpiled or improperly disposed, household, agricultural, and other pesticides threaten our health and environment with accidental poisonings, fires, and leaks or spills. Although many
states and local communities devote substantial resources to safely manage unwanted pesticides, significant problems persist, including a lack of sustainable funding and convenient collection, as well as low consumer awareness.
On this webinar, you will learn the best practices for end-of-life pesticide management and take away practical strategies to develop or improve your state’s program. Government and industry
speakers from the U.S. and Canada will explore the current landscape of pesticide stewardship, including successes, challenges, and potential solutions.
Together, the webinar speakers and attendees will push forward the national discussion on pesticide stewardship. There will also be plenty of time to discuss potential solutions and answer questions.
