It was great hearing about everyone’s programs all the successful collections we have had this year!

I want to share the Southwest Michigan Solid Waste Consortiums’ Speakers Event information with all of you.  This event will focus on the current state of the recycling market in the U.S. and Great Lakes Region.  We will hear from a recycling hauler, a MRF plant supervisor, a recycling brokerage company, a consultant, and the Recycling Market Development Specialist with EGLE on what impacts the Chinese National Sword Policy has had on the recycling industry and what we can all do moving forward!

The event will be held at Kalamazoo Valley Community College, Texas Township Campus, 6767 West O Avenue, Kalamazoo, MI 49003 – Classroom 9130 on September 18^th at 6:30pm.
