Thanks to those of you who were able to attend yesterday’s Roundtable meeting – I really enjoyed our discussions. Here is the information regarding the scrap tire grant that Steve Noble (DEQ) mentioned. It sounds like they have abundant funds available for this, so if you were ever considering holding a tire drive, now would be the time to apply.

Please note the October 30^th application deadline and that the grant pertains to passenger tires only (tractor tires would not be covered). All questions regarding application preparation and submission should be directed to staff of the Scrap Tire Regulatory Program (Program) at 517-284-6588.
