Hi Ben,
Ah, too bad.  We will miss you at the training.

Do you have a conflict with the date?  If so, we might be able to squeeze you into a training on March 3 in Grand Rapids.

Subject: HHW Roundtable meeting 2-27-17

Hello HHW family,

I hope you are all finding ways to make it through these dark and dreary days of Michigan winter we’ve been having. I just realized our next Roundtable meeting (Monday, February 27th) is the same week as the 8-hour HAZWOPER Refresher (Friday, March 3rd) – also in Lansing – hopefully that won’t deter any of you from making the trip. Our meeting will be at the Ingham County Health Department in Lansing from 9:30 am to noon. We will again be in conference room C.

-          Christine Grossman from MDEQ will be joining us to discuss the HHW program survey results (which counties have HHW programs, what materials do they collect, etc.), the possibility of an HHW RT web page and some MDEQ updates.

-          Steve Noble (MDEQ as well) will also be in attendance to help with any electronics recycling discussions.

-          Jon Tulman from Washtenaw County will be there to discuss the Michigan HHW programs’ 2016 data he recently compiled.

Please let me know if you will be attending by February 16th so I know how many handouts to provide. Contact me anytime if you have anything to add to the agenda.

I look forward to seeing you there!

Sincerely,

Cynthia Foster
