Hi Bob,

We use US Ecology for most everything we do but except for oil collected at remote locations, I don’t use them here at Zeeb Road. I’m attaching my weight log – check out the 2017 tab. You’ll see what I would have paid US Ecology last year when they were charging $0.07 per pound. We have using Future Environmental and paid a flat rate of $45. We saved over $1,700.

Do you still want to talk about the possibility of your county residents accessing our HHW program? If so, will you be at MRC next week? Perhaps we can carve out some time in Kalamazoo.

Livingston County accepts it at our HHW collections and our vendor US Ecology. We bulk all the oil together in big 275 gallons tanks during the collection and we are charged $0.12 per pound.
