I have had many inquiries about the disposal of agricultural tires. This year we are using Deerpath for the Scrap Tire Grant Event and they charge a steep rate for ag. tires because they do not normally accept them and have to arrange
for special equipment to process the ag tires. Our grant is processed through South West Michigan Solid Waste Consortium, so we all use the same vendor.
My question is, can anyone recommend a vendor that has the equipment to process ag tires? Or, recommend a vendor that charges a reasonable rate to accept ag. tires? I have many residents with piles of ag tires and I am seeking resources
to assist them. Any input would be great!
