Good morning HHW family,

We received this control device from a customer last week and they stated it contained mercury. It does not say “Hg” anywhere on it and I couldn’t find a clear answer online. I believe the long, brass part may be a thermocouple and may indeed contain mercury. Does anyone have any experience with these. Besides what is in the photos, the only other information on the device is “Robert Shaw Controls Company”.
